Ten day challenge-Day 10(one picture)

Its end of the 10 day challenge and have to end off with one picture of myself!..

This is my favourite picture taken by my bro at SG airport. Taken in my favourite colour in my favourite place by my favourite person. So this becomes extremely favourite :) haha. This is V's favourite too.

Ten day challenge-Day 9(2 songs)

Today I shall write about two songs that are running in my mind right now.

Beautiful song.Lovely music. One of the reason for liking this song is also because of the location. Look how amazing India is!...Kudos to AR Rahman.

A perfect song to express an important loss in a person's life. Losing someone we love is the biggest punishment god can give us.This song is filled with emotions. No description needed.

Ten day challenge-Day 8(3 films)

I love to watch films but prefer regional films more than english. I watch only selective english movies but love all the animated movies. I wonder how people stand all that  voilence in the english movies.

It’s hard to list down top 3 movies!...

1. P.S I love you. A very sweet and emotional movie. Love the storyline.

2. Telugu movie Godavari. I have seen this movie number of times (lost count). I love the songs and the locations shown in the movie.

3. Of course bollywood actor Hrithik’s Kaho Na Pyaar Hai will be part of this list. Fallen in love with the songs and his dance. My all time favourite since my school days.

Ten day challenge-Day 7(4 books)

Me and books are poles apart. So this post is extremely difficult for me. I may not even mention 4 books. Yes I am that bad in reading. The only time I read lot of books was in school days because of my english teacher who forced us to use new words in english essays! I remember cursing her during my often trips to library. She was so strict that we need to write down 10 new words every week and use it in the essays.

I don’t know why but I prefer Indian authors compared to others. I am not being racist here but I somehow feel some attachment to Indian authors. So in that list I love chetan bhagat’s 2 states and five point someone. I read few more books but I don’t remember the names!. Sorry I am really that hopeless when it comes to books.

Would love to read Preeti Shenoy’s two books. Maybe that will be next in my list.

This post is incomplete but this is the best I could do :)

Ten day challenge-Day 6(5 Food)

It’s all about food today. A perfect post on a Sunday. I eat a lot totally opposite to what I look. I love eating but I am very health conscious. So lets get down to the list :)

1. Definitely chocolates will be first in the list especially Ferrero Rocher. This is my all time favorite. Its heaven wrapped in a small package :).While I am eating chocolates I don't think of anything and after eating I think of nothing but the exercise I have to do to remove the fats. Well that's me :)

2. Nothing beats mom’s cooking. Love the simple dhal dish she cooks. Dhal with hot rice and pickle is the best combination. It’s bliss

3. Ice milo. I have mentioned it in the previous post also. The only drink that comes into my mind every day.

4. I am against fast food. It’s purely unhealthy and not something I want as part of my daily meal but KFC once in few months is still acceptable.

5. Idli (south Indian breakfast). My bro name it as deadly patient’s breakfast :). According to me It is the healthiest breakfast in Indian cuisine.

The next post is going to be extremely hard!.How can I write about 4 books!oh god...

Ten day challenge-Day 5(6 Places)

I always relate and remember people with places. We might forget people but not the places we went with them.

1. Hyderabad. This place automatically counts in. Everything is beautiful in this city. This city holds my entire childhood memories. Love this city!

2. Home is the best place for me. I love weekends so that I can be at home with my family. Even though I don’t do anything it doesn’t matter as long as I am at home!

3. Sometimes I prefer to be left alone. All alone in my room.

4. I love some places in Singapore. Especially my college and East Coast Park. Have lot of good memories with my close friends. If I ever leave this country I would definitely miss these places.

5. Pasiris park in Singapore. It’s calm and peaceful. Went there only twice but would love to go there often. One memorable event in this place was to celebrate my close friend’s 21st birthday.

6. Kullu manali in India. I have not seen this place yet but something in me tell me that it will be heaven.

Ten day challenge-Day 4 (7 wants)

Day 4! 7 wants. I have lot of wishes.I wish it was not restricted to 7!

1. I want to visit Newzealand very soon. This has been in my wish list for the past 10 years or more ever since I knew bollywood start Hrithik’s first movie Kaho na pyaar hai being shot in NZ. It’s a lovely place. Hopefully this will be fulfilled by next year atleast.

2. Adding on to that I want to travel more. I have not even seen 10% of the world. I want to see more places, want to have more stamps in my passport. Wish to travel to one new country every year. Not asking for too much :P

3. I want a big house with spacious bedroom and nice terrace. The house should have treadmill. I know this is the only way I will remind myself to be healthy.

4. I want all the chocolates in the world to be fat free. I love chocolates but the huge fat % on the chocolate cover turns me off!argh!wonder why all the tasty food in the world are unhealthy

5. If there is one wish that I am wishing every day it could be V’s arrival in Singapore. Keeping my fingers crossed.

6. I want a long vacation in a snow country! Yes a vacation with full of snow experience. I have not seen snow yet!

7. Finally a shopping trip to India!Yes just a shopping trip :)

Ten day challenge-Day 3 (8 Fears)

Its day 3!!! 8 fears. This is going to be tough.

1. For some reason I am worried that I have to stop working at some stage of my life. I can’t stay at home for too long. Despite of hating the routine life of waking up early, going to work, stressing myself with the office project deadlines, I love it. Sounds weird but haven’t you heard of “I love you but I hate you” :P Same logic

2. I am not ready to be away from my family. I know all those logics that girl has to leave her family after marriage and etc but if I am given a chance I wouldn’t want to do that. Actually the thought of it nowadays scares me :(

3. Definitely have fear for heights but I love rides and theme park games so I hide this fear within me

4. How can I forget my fear for dogs! I can’t stand them even from far. Sorry if I offended dog lovers but for me a big no for dogs!

5. I always remind myself that I can't and won't drive a car. I have fear for car driving. Will try to get over it but Singapore's expensive driving classes are not helping me to get over this fear.

6. After the langkawi incident I have fear for parasailing. I don't want to go through the phyical and mental pain of fracture all over again.

7. Despite of being an Information technology student I have a fear for programming languages. People say it’s based on logic but I for me it’s not human language. My weakest subjects in college were always programming modules.

8. No one like losing friends including me. I have lost some good friends in life. They walked off for no reason so no regerts from my side. I am happy with the current friends in my life and wouldn't want to lose them at any cost especially my best friend.

Ten day challenge-Day 2 (Nine Loves)

This 9 loves are definitely not in order.

1. My parents and brother comes first in my life. No one will ever replace them. My day is not complete without a short chitchat with my brother.

2. I love my job. This is my first job and I am enjoying every bit of it. My current job has transformed me to a better and matured person. Right now it is making me feel complete.

3. He irritates me most of the time and he is totally opposite of me but still my life is incomplete without him. Well that’s V :)

4. Bowling is the only game that I am ready to play anytime. I started playing this game when I was in college and have lot of good memories. Now I rarely play this game because I don’t have a good company to play.

5. My good friend Sai. He has been my friend for the past 14yrs and yet nothing has changed between us. We are geographically far apart and meet up once every few years but our friendship is still strong. Many friends came into my life and left but only he proved me that friendship can and will always stay strong if you are true to it. He is a true friend.

6. I love ice milo. I love it so much that I can have it every day; especially Mac Donald’s ice milo is heaven in Singapore’s hot weather.

7. I love to print out pictures and decorate them in frames and creative picture albums. I love this habit and I make it a point to give unique picture gifts to my close friends. I truly believe pictures hold lifetime memories.

8. I love collecting bags, shoes and accessories. I will never say no to any new collection :) Well a typical girl in this matter

9. Love collecting teddy bears and pooh. If I am given a chance I would continue the collection given my mother doesn’t complain about the lack of space. : )

Ten day challenge-Day 1 (10 Secrets)

Came across this 10 Day you challenge in Preeti’s blog. The 10-day challenge is over but better to be late than not doing it at all :) Love the idea. So why not:P . I am also doing this to make sure that I will blog often.

The 10-day challenge post is to write 10 secrets, 9 loves, 8 fears, 7 wants, 6 places, 5 foods, 4 books, 3 films, 2 songs and 1 picture of yourself

So here we go on the 1st day.

10 secrets. It is extremely hard to put in words but I will try. People who are close to me do know about these secrets so it can also be some random facts about me

1. I hate pink colour. Especially clothes and hate the fact that people think by default all girls like pink.

2. I don’t like people who judge others by height or any physical appearance. I can’t stand such ignorant people who thinks physical appearance is more important than character. Frankly speaking I am not tall (but not too short) and I get very angry when people point it out to me (other than my family members). Personally I judge others by character.

3. I want only love marriage in my life. I am totally against the idea of arranged marriages. I don’t understand how a person can accept someone who didn’t exist in their life before. Agree people might find this weird but according to me best way is to know them well, love them and then get married. Well not all love marriages are successful and not all arranged marriages are a failure. Personally I feel I can only handle love marriage. After all the guy needs to know how difficult it is to handle me :P . Well this wish is almost fulfilled :P

4. I am extremely bad in Mathematics. I guess extreme is a small word! I shouldn’t say this especially when my brother is a mathematics genius. For some reason numbers scare me. Life would be better without mathematics and I wish MBA entrance exam didn’t have this subject. Argh!

5. I love eating raw rice grains. It’s chewy and sweet. Due to this weird habit I was scolded by my family members very often. Well now this habit has vanished. Almost

6. I can’t tolerate people who are late. My friends know this very well as I have plenty of experience in waiting for them. To my close friends my anger is obvious but for others I try to digest the fact and get done with the meeting but the meeting won’t be normal. Promise on that : )

7. One thing that attracts me in the opposite sex is the smile. I am a crazy fan of Indian movie actor Madhavan (maddy) just for his sweet smile. Well V knows this very well :)

8. I hate swimming not for the fact that I can’t swim and etc etc but the fear that swimming will make me dark.

9. There are two people who I hate and will hate for rest of my life. Usually I am not the type who will be angry on people but this two people don’t deserve my forgiveness. Never!

10. Silently I feel extremely happy when people tell me that I look like 16 or 18 yrs old teenager despite of being in early 20s. I love being young! Today a beautiful lady made my day by saying this :)

So here are my 10 secrets. Next is 9 loves! That will be easy
